Black-out Day in Health Food Stores
Black drapes and blacked-out shelves will appear in 150 health food stores around the country today, as health food workers and store owners protest the Government's draconian new proposal to regulate dietary supplements.
Sue Kedgley, Green Party Health spokesperson will visit Homestead Health in Cuba Mall, Wellington at 9.30am today, to support the action.
A copy of Sue's press release on the proposed regulations, and a list of participating stores, is available on request from the Green Party media office.
