Fight for Life organisers congratulated
I would like to congratulate all those involved in today's announcement that last week's Yellow Ribbon Fight For Life
raised a record million dollars, says National Party Leader Bill English.
"Thelma French from Yellow Ribbon and Dean Lonergan organiser of the Fight for Life deserve to have achieved a record
amount in light of the countless hours they put in to ensuring it was a success.
"These are people who don't just talk about what they can do for the community they get out and put it into practise.
For that they should be applauded," says Mr English.
