Greens welcome another chance for Southerner
Green co-leader Rod Donald today said he was delighted that the Southerner had been given another chance to get back on its feet.
"I hope everyone involved will make the most of the four month window of opportunity to develop a strategy to make the service profitable again," said Mr Donald.
"I am confident the partnership between central and local government will bear fruit."
Mr Donald thanked all parties for their efforts in securing the Southerner for another four months.
"This is good news that vindicates the Green Party's campaign to save the Southerner."
