Electricity Lines Issues
“Submissions before the Commerce Select Committee hearings on the Electricity Industry Bill have raised issues regarding the rights and obligations of line owners and electricity lines companies”, David Cunliffe, MP for Titirangi, said today.
“I think it is important that we hear all sides of the issues”, Mr Cunliffe said.
“Several submissions by line owners, including one featured in today’s New Zealand Herald have not yet been released, pending completion of normal natural justice processes.
“I believe the Select Committee process is working well. Every New Zealander has an opportunity to have their say, knowing that their issues will be carefully considered”, David Cunliffe said.
