RIB Chairman resigns
Racing Minister Annette King has reluctantly accepted the resignation of the Racing Industry Board Chairman Garry Chittick.
“Garry wrote to me expressing his regret at having to make this decision. He has devoted six years to the Racing Industry Board, four of those as chairman. Garry operates a thoroughbred stud business that has recently expanded, and he has justifiably decided his time and energy is needed at home.
“I want to thank Garry for the work he has done for the industry. His time as chairman was characterised by his capacity for work and his constant availability. He will be difficult to replace. I wish Garry and his family well in their business."
