It is Youth Parliament time again and Wellington MP Annabel Young is seeking her Youth MP from schools in the Wellington Central and Rongotai electorates. "Every MP is allowed to choose 1 person for the Youth Parliament. I want to find a Youth MP who is a real representative of Wellington City."
"I would like to hear from any Wellingtonians who are 16-18 years old who thinks that they could represent this city. I am also writing to the heads of the schools in the Wellington Central and Rongotai electorates asking them to refer potential Youth Parliamentarians to me."
The Youth Parliament is to be held in Parliament on 28 and 29 August this year. It was last held in 1997.
