Cullen should keep his hands-off a good thing

ACT Finance spokesman Rodney Hide said today that the GDP growth figures gave a lie to Michael Cullen’s dire warnings of the state of the economy all through last year.
“Last year the economy grew 3.5 percent. That’s with the very policies that Cullen spent his time in Opposition criticising.
“Dr Cullen shouldn’t mess with success. The last thing this economy needs is Anderton and Cullen laying their hands on it.
“The tax hike, the renationalisation of ACC, and the abolition of the Employment Contracts Act are having a big, bad impact on small business. It’s time Dr Cullen got over the euphoria of finally making it to Government and started listening to what business was telling him,” said Rodney Hide.
