POLITICIANS – DOUBLE STANDARDS OR
ONE LAW FOR ALL?
New Zealand First Law and Order spokesman, Ron Mark, today accused politicians of having double standards over drug use.
“Those who make the laws should have the same standards as those who enforce them.
“Police and Defence personnel are subject to drug testing, yet within the confines of Parliament, it has become a regular event to champion the use of cannabis and senior staff have even been linked to its usage during the course of their week.
“Why do we not demand regular drug testing for politicians also?” asked Mr Mark.
