Dover Samuels supports Governor-General's visit to Waitangi
Maori Affairs Minister Dover Samuels said today that he had not advised the Governor-General not to visit Waitangi this weekend.
Mr Samuels said that he very much hoped that the Governor-General would come to Waitangi, and that he and other ministers intended to accompany him.
"Any suggestions to the contrary are false," Mr Samuels said.
