F16S: The Dominion leads today with a report that the Government will not spend the money earmarked for the F16 fighter
deal with the United States on other areas of defence because PM Helen Clark said yesterday that the funds simply did
not exist.
PLANE CRASH: The front-page photo shows a 737 plane that crashed on landing at LAX airport and nearly ran into a petrol
station. No one was seriously injured in the accident.
