New Zealand First MPs walked out of the House in protest today after their leader was ordered to leave the chamber by
Speaker David Carter.
This happened after a series of Points of Order following Anne Tolley making a personal explanation to correct an answer
last week. During the events NZ First Leader Winston Peters was asked to leave the chamber after re-litigating a ruling
of the Speaker. NZ First MPs then left the chamber in protest.
Earlier When Parliament resumed at 2pm a large number of papers and select committee reports were presented.

Report from the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment, The state of air quality in New Zealand by the Local Government and Environment Committee
Briefing from Beef and Lamb New Zealand by the Primary Production Committee
Briefing from New Zealand Kiwifruit Growers by the Primary Production Committee
Briefing from the bee industry by the Primary Production Committee
Briefing from Zespri by the Primary Production Committee
Health and Safety Reform Bill by the Transport and Industrial Relations Committee
The Christian Churches New Zealand Property Trust Board Empowering Bill was introduced.
MPs began Question Time after the expulsion of Mr Peters.
