Two bills on Christchurch issues will be passed in Parliament today.
After Question Time and the General Debate, MPs will debate the third reading of a private bill - Arts Centre of Christchurch Trust Bill and then the third reading of a local bill - Christchurch City Council (Rates Validation) Bill.
Once these are completed MPs will debate the third reading of the Social Security (Clothing Allowances for Orphans and Unsupported Children) Amendment Bill which has general support.
If these are all completed the first reading debate on the Underground Coal Mining Safety Bill will take place. If this happens a Members Bill ballot will take place tomorrow.
