A large number of papers and other items were tabled after Parliament resumed at 2pm following the adjournment.
These included the:
Petition of Roger Fowler on behalf of the Respect Our Community Campaign was presented calling for a stop to the proposed East-West Motorway through Mangere and Otahuhu and that the House support the aim of the petition .
Petition of Jessie Hume requesting the House take urgent action to remedy the crisis facing those who have been sexually assaulted in New Zealand.
Petition of Neil Pluck on behalf of the Rakaia Community Association asking the Government to take urgent action to make the sale of synthetic cannabis illegal

The Auditor-General’s report, Inquiry into the Mangawhai community wastewater scheme, was presented as was a report from the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment on Water Quality.
Select Committee reports were presented on the:
Interim report on Question of privilege regarding use of intrusive powers within the parliamentary precinct by the Privileges Committee
Inquiry into Pacific languages in early childhood education by the Education and Science Committee
Student Loan Scheme Amendment Bill (No 3) by the Finance and Expenditure Committee
Taxation (Annual Rates, Foreign Superannuation, and Remedial Matters) Bill by the Finance and Expenditure Committee
Petition 2011/49 of Aaron Cross on behalf of the Greyhound Protection League of New Zealand by the Government Administration Committee
International treaty examination of the Headquarters Agreement between the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation and the Government of New Zealand by the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee
Petition 2011/84 of Sam Fang on behalf of the Falun Gong Association Incorporated by the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee
