Bahraini Musicians Perform, Rally in Wellington

A group of Bahraini musicians who arrived with the Bahrain football team last night performed in Midland Park this afternoon.

Bahrain will compete with the New Zealand All Whites tomorrow, Saturday the 14th, in the FIFA World Cup qualifier at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
This match is the first World Cup qualifier the All Whites have participated in since 1982. If the All Whites prevail against Bahrain they will go on to represent New Zealand in the World Cup finals in South Africa in 2010.
Westpac will house the sold out event -- attendance is expected to be around 35,000.
