Fashionz.co.nz: Trelise Cooper A Fearless And Successful Way With Colour

While Cooper doesn’t reach Trelise Cooper’s dressiest heights, the Winter ’08 collection showed that it ain’t just a more-glam-than-normal sportswear range.
Sure, there was a cute cropped low waist tie front pant and gorgie gold Matador jacket; sure there were black and silver sequinned hotpants and a hoodie; sure there was a thigh length sequinned tunic with sexy tied scoop back.
But there were also georgette prints in pretty dresses, waists caught with coral belts and turquoise tights peeking out from under, the whole shebang dripping a “pure ‘50s Hollywood glamour”.
We lapped up the collection’s fearless and successful way with colour - try neon yellow, fuschia, a cobalt belt and multi tights for example! And best of all – while the range was sexy, short and fitted it looked like it would cope admirably with women’s curves and we love that!
