Justice: Asylum Seeker Thomas Yadegary Appears In Court, Again
Will the government relent and release him from 2 years in jail without charge or trial? Thomas Yadegary appears in court today after two years (the second anniversary of his imprisonment was Wednesday this week) in jail without charge or trial. Youth Crime: Government Considers Harsher Sentences
News that the Government is considering doubling the length of some sentences for young criminals has been welcomed by New Zealand First Law and Order spokesperson Ron Mark. Mr Mark is a staunch advocate of tougher sentences for violent youth offenders and is the sponsor of a Members Bill... which seeks to reduce the age of criminal responsibility for youths who commit serious crimes.
