Fatal Work Place Accident at Albany
Scoop News: Police report that an 18 year-old man was killed today in a workplace accident where a stack of piled wood collapsed. Police were called to the accident at 7.00am on Monday 3rd October 2005.
The 18 year-old died instantly. Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) are investigating the matter and a report will be released at a later date.
Police say officers will be advising the Coroner of the circumstances and liaising with OSH where necessary. The young man’s name will be released once Next of Kin have been informed.
