Scoop News: Police Threatened With Machete in Mangere
South Auckland Police were called to a domestic dispute in Mangere, Manukau City, today where upon arrival uniformed staff were threatened with a machete by a male at the address. Police officers involved called for officer reinforcements.
Police negotiations later began and shortly after a man gave himself up without further incident.
A Mangere man has been arrested and will appear in the Manukau District Court on violence and weapons charges.
