At today's press conference – Don Brash and Bill English - to announce the launch of National's education assessment and reporting policy Scoop's Alastair Thompson had an opportunity to put some questions to the National Party leader regarding the allegations made in the Sunday Star Times concerning his links to the Business Roundtable and their interest in race-relations policy.

Questions asked include:
To Don Brash:
With relation to the race relations policy announced on Monday, would you be willing to say that Roger Kerr and Roger Douglas provided you with good advice?
Your supporters have suggested that this is simply a matter of unsolicited advice? Is that how you would characterise it?
What is the business angle on your race-relations policy – how is it good for business?
Did you take the remark in the headline of the email from Roger Kerr "Tool of the Business Roundtable" to be a joke? Did you think it was funny?
Why have you not yet appeared on a major current affairs outlet to discuss this matter?
To Bill English:
Do you consider that the Treaty of Waitangi is not about "partnership" and do you consider it to be a living document?
