Reserve Bank Leaves Interest Rates Alone For now
- Reserve Bank Governor Alan Bollard said: "At the March MPS we expressed concern about the persistence of inflation pressures in the economy which were severely limiting our inflation headroom. We still take that view. While recent indicators have shown signs of a slowdown in the second half of 2004, analysis of the data suggests that underlying demand and inflation pressures remain strong. - An unprecedented group of national security whistleblowers have formed a united front as the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition (NSWBC).
