12 30 Well known and well loved cartoonist writer documentary maker and all round observer of the human condition, Tom Scott has recently been involved with a documentary the follows some of the highs and lows, friendships and fall outs of David Lange’s life. He will be talking to us about the documentary and some of the stories that came out during filming.
1 00 The New Zealand Institute has just launched it’s second discussion paper to do with creating an ownership society called ‘It’s not just about the money: the benefits of asset ownership’. Chief Executive David Skilling will be coming in to talk to us about what the paper proposes and where the institute is going.
1 15 Tracey Slaughter has just won the overall 2004 Bank of New Zealand Katherine Mansfield Award for her short story Wheat. She will be talking to us about writing the book, what it is about, what winning the award means and what she plans to do with her the prizes.
