Palestinian Penance for Israeli & American Sins [*]

American Apache
Helicopter scouts
Hovered over RED
Pools oozing
Out of WHITE
Muscle filleted
Beneath deep
BLUE skies
Surveillance drones
Unmanned
Sought body heat
Lecherously leering
In robotic longing
To attack Palestinians
Wanted Dead or Alive
Trophy triumphs
Of Israeli might
Over a raped
And robbed
Refugee population
Renamed Terrorists
Crammed
Into the smallest
Space Israel
Could spare
From the stolen
Occupied Territory
Gaza Strip
Dared to resist
While
Secrets of the Dead
Kept counsel
With the living
Twenty times
The IDF shot her
Five times
In the head
Left for dead
Israeli snipers
Feared the child's
Backpack
Held explosives
They claimed
Frenzied
With excitement
In the exaggerated
Importance
Of their 2000 strong
Troop Mission
Bent on extermination
Of the Enemy
A sweet smiled
Big eyed child
Slammed
Face down
Onto her desk
As a bullet flew
Through the window
To nest
In brains
Filled with schoolwork
Classmates
Watched
Terrified
As blood
And brain matter
Splattered
In puddles
Dripped down
Books
Papers
Pencils
Her pretty blue dress
Socks and shoes
Chest compressed
She bowed
Convulsed in pain
And hopelessness
She died
Tangled
In Israeli
Domination
Flesh hung
Atop roofs
On windows
Doors in streets
Broken bits
Of concrete
Homes heaved
Asunder cast
Apart as bones
Splintered and rolled
High then low
Blasted by Israeli
Guided missiles
Out-gunned
Out-numbered
Palestinian
Men and women
Shouldered the burden
To protect loved ones
Resting in Houses
Of Mourning
Waiting for the World
To respond
