Want to buy some gasoline ? Get in line, sucker !
Once again I have happened upon a website espousing anti-American ideals. Let me say right off, the world depends on US, so the world BELONGS to us, therefor, it ain't "stealing", as you so pejoratively label it.
You, like all the other squealing and leaderless naysayers, are very proficient in outlining the so called problems, but never, never, NEVER do you offer any plausible answers or solutions. Turn off the spigots - - and THEN what ? Let the world starve ? Or are you New Zealanders planning on taking up all the slack ? By what incredible stretch of the imagination do you think your or the rest of the world could survive if America’s economic engine were stopped ? Most of the worlds people would be dead within weeks !
I am proud of my country for taking leadership in removing nthe source of income, even if by "theft", for terrorism world-wide. You being New Zealanders can offer no hope to the world at large for any sort of protection. You do however depend on US to protect you. Otherwise you'd all be speaking Japanese at this very minute.
And don't give me that garbage about "sending our sons to die for oil", my daughter, a sergeant in our Army is very proud to protect and defend our country, not oil, and she will be in a quasi-combat role in a re-supply company. And I am proud of her and respect her for having the courage to sign up to defend our future. And also she has assured me that an overwhelmingly large majority of her comrades feel just the same as she does.
So, thanks for nothing, guys ! And please don't also thank us for securing your privilege to berate us for leading the world to democracy. You folks in NZ are merely a few steps away from communism as it is anyway. I guess you like it that way.
I wonder if, after we take over the world’s oil reserves, I wonder if you will line up for your share ? O r maybe we should cut you off, since you apparently don't need it, or approve of using it. Huh ?

The 'Blood Price' That Could Hang Tony Blair
Is Tony Blair being blackmailed? Does America's National Security Agency have something on file that would, if made public, fatally damage Tony Blair and his ruling Labour Party?
On Tuesday Tony Blair declared war on British public opinion. Yesterday he affirmed that Britain must "pay the blood price" for its special relationship with the United States. On Saturday he will meet with President Bush to determine the course of an illegal and universally condemned war that started covertly as long ago as March and which entered its preliminary "hot phase" yesterday with 100 airborne sorties over the southernmost tip of Baghdad.
Tony Blair is already a murderer many thousands of times over. He is sought for war crimes in the former Yugoslav Republic where, in common with their Iraqi counterparts, countless numbers of children suffer cancers and deformities caused by uranium-depleted bombs and Tomahawk missiles dispatched by the Royal Air Force. He also faces prosecution by human rights groups for his executive role in the carefully coordinated slaughter of over 400 prisoners of war at Nazar-i-Sharif in Afghanistan. Estimates vary, but some figures suggest that between 40 and 60 prisoners were tortured before being shot in the back of the head by SAS and CIA operatives.
Such has been Mr Blair's blood lust in recent weeks, notwithstanding threats of resignation from his cabinet and stark warnings issued by his own advisors that his support for an unhinged American President is damaging the Labour Party and diminishing his prospects of re-election, that one is tempted to ask the question: Is he being blackmailed? Does America's National Security Agency have something on file that would, if made public, fatally damage Tony Blair and his ruling Labour Party? Even if we regard with scepticism the assertion made by author Robin Ramsey that the blueprint for New Labour was drafted by the CIA in the twilight years of the Thatcher regime, we can safely assume that Labour's new-fangled Moral Imperialism (Cooper et al) is not at variance with the sort of thinking that informs the Pentagon's war-planners and shapes the intellectual uplands of the Washington establishment.
The extent to which allied support is badly needed by an American administration under fire for policies that are marking it out as a dangerously arrogant clique shoring up a discombobulated rogue state is evident in a recent poll that shows that only one third of American citizens would support a unilateral invasion of Iraq. With Bush seeking to obscure the collapse of the American financial system with a war plan that plays well with voters ahead of elections in November, Tony Blair's sacrificial willingness to "pay the blood price" is so essential to the survival of the Bush regime that it may have been obtained in a way that makes of Tony Blair a man whose allegiance is not to the British Crown or even the British people, but to a powerful supranational Anglo-American elite that answers to no one but itself.
The message put out by this elite is unmistakable: public opinion no longer counts and the electorate has no choice in determining important world-changing events because political oppositions (US Democrats and British Tories) play the game according to the same pre-rigged rules. The "blood price" has a fixed value, is non-negotiable, and, at an esoteric level, represents ongoing reparations inherent in the post 1917 relationship between the American Republic and the British Crown. You may call it the 'special relationship'. I call it high treason.
And the penalty for high treason in the United Kingdom is death by hanging.
