More images of the environs of the most photogenic mountain village in the world taken by Norman Mackay .
Ice With A View - was shot on the 16th July from the north west upper side of the lake looking into the magnificent Dobson valley towards Mt Cook.
Bird of Paradise - taken on the 16th August at the edge of Lake Middleton. It shows the first arrivals of swans,ducks, etc. The lake is at present filling up with wild fowl of all sorts as Spring now approaches, and the air temperature begins to get warmer.
