May Day Rain Forecast For The South Island
Scoop has been consulting NOAA’s supercomputer on the weather forecast for May Day when demonstrators and workers will
be taking to the streets all over the planet. Will their protests be disrupted by rain?
At this stage it appears weather will be ideal for May Day celebrations around the globe just about everywhere, with the
possible exceptions of Seattle, Eastern Europe, Paraguay and Invercargill.
In New Zealand NOAA's supercomputer is forecasting a band of rain to come on to the country from the Tasman Sea early
next week, bringing some rain at last to drought stricken Eastern areas of the South Island.
This rain is forecast to move North to Wellington on May 2nd. Links to forecasts of New Zealand’s beginning of May rains
