Maori Affairs Minister Dover Samuels has been stood down from his ministerial responsibilities following allegations of
sexual misconduct.
Mr. Samuels has stood down after a letter about the matter was sent to the Prime Minister’s Department yesterday. Radio
New Zealand is reporting that ACT leader Richard Prebble has also written a letter to the PM in relation to the
allegations. Mr. Prebble is making no comment at this time.
According to reports police investigated the allegations last year but no charges were laid.
