Putin Wins In First Round

Acting Russian President Vladimir Putin has won a clear majority in the first round of the Russian Presidential elections.
According to the Central Electoral Commission of Russia as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time, after counting 91.02% of the votes, Vladimir Putin has the lead with 52.32%.
Communist Candidate Gennady Zhuganov has second place with 29.61% and Grigory Yavlinsky has third place with 5.8%.
Fourth place is taken by Aman Tuleev on 3.07%.
