Message In A Bubble

Published: Tue 14 Mar 2000 08:18 AM
It's a nice art-antidote to crappy reality TV shows! Four intrepid cultural adventurers transfer their entire lives to a sealed shop window in Wellington for 15 days, in this 24 hour, non stop incubation event.
The four men call themselves Urban Dream Capsule and are part of the International Festival of the Arts (now known as New Zealand Festival 2000).
Holed up in the Farmers building on Cuba Street behind sound proof glass inches thick, they will communicate with spectators using hand signals, written messages and through faxes and emails.
Scoop is planning to publish our online conversations with the actors. You can visit their website at. http://home.alphalink.com.au/~surreal/ or email them at urbandream@xtra.co.nz
