NAVAL task force has a major role in E Timor

With HMNZS CANTERBURY about to sail, New Zealand has three ships involved in the multi-national naval task force as part of INTERFET.
All told the coaltion nations, acting to fulfill the UN Security Council resolution on East Timor, have deployed eleven ships to the initial operations, with another six to follow.
As of today, the ships directly involved include:
New Zealand
HMNZS Te Kaha
HMNZS Endeavour
(HMNZS Canterbury will relieve Te Kaha in a few days time)
Australia
Frigates: HMAS Darwin, HMAS Adelaide, HMAS Anzac
Submarine: HMAS Farncomb
Amphibious ships: HMAS Tobruk, HMAS Jervis Bay
Replenishment ship: HMAS Success
USA
Guided Missile Cruiser: USS Mobile Bay
UK
Guided Missile Destroyer: HMS Glasgow
