Min Of Health Briefing on Y2K

The Ministry of Health is holding a briefing on the Y2K issue for the health
sector on September 8, at 9.30am at its Molesworth Street premises in
Wellington.
Director-General of Health Dr Karen Poutasi and the head of the Y2K project for
the Ministry, Steve Brazier, will talk about;
the Ministry's role in Y2K
what the health sector has done to prepare for it
what still needs to be done
the relevance of the September 9 date
key public health issues
and will also answer journalists' question
The September 8 briefing replaces the briefing which had been planned for
September 2.
