Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace Breaks All Existing NZ Box Office Records In Its First Week
After shattering the existing opening day record on June 10 by a sensational 55% EPISODE 1 has completed its First Week across the country by setting yet another new All Time Record.
In its First Week the Box Office Gross was $1,808,510 which is over 9% above the previous record holder INDEPENDENCE DAY (1996) at $1,653,618. Both films are released by Twentieth Century Fox Film Distribution, which now gives the company No's 1 and 2 at Cinemas.
