For 17 years Kushla Twyford witnessed the effects of drugs and alcohol through her job in law enforcement. Her new
venture with Home and Work Drug Detection aims to educate and stop the cycle of using these substances, leading to a
happier and healthier community for all.
“Being in the police force I saw a range of effects that Drugs and Alcohol have. I have dealt directly with people under
the influence on the job, meth labs and users, and even with those who have been unfortunate enough to live in
contaminated houses without their knowledge. I believe that education and being proactive are important steps in
changing how we deal with these issues in our community.”
With meth use prevalent, and a booming property market, it is more important than ever to ensure that your home is not

As well as undertaking testing, Home and Work Drug Detection will be running community information evenings to highlight
the risks of these substances as well as methods for prevention.
