New Zealand’s Largest Fitness and Health Event Begins Today!
Ready, set… Expo! The 2016 NZ Fitness Expo begins today at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds, shining a spotlight on all aspects of fitness, health and nutrition.
For those seeking a healthier lifestyle, right through to athletes at the top of their games, the 2016 NZ Fitness Expo brings a high energy range of nutritional products, clothing, fitness equipment and programmes, health services, industry education and career choices, all in one place, across one huge weekend.
Event Organiser Jono Ridler says that this event has something for everyone.
“Whether you’re here to sample and to learn, or to watch the country’s top athletes tough it out in their chosen discipline, this is a not-to-be-missed event,” says Ridler.
The NZ Fitness Expo has a non-stop schedule of action happening across both days of the show, featuring the very best in CrossFit, Arm Wrestling, Kettlebell Sport, Bodybuilding, Powerlifting and Strongman, the hugely popular NZ Fitness Model Search and much more.
As always, The Industrial Athletic Invitational is set to be a crowd favourite pitting world class CrossFit athletes against the very best in New Zealand in a gruelling two-day event.
For the first time this year, KettleBell Sport is included in the highlights, showing why this discipline is favoured by top Russian athletes and members of the Special Forces.
And New Zealand’s best amateur body builders will be getting their chance to showcase their dedication to the sport as part of the NABBA Auckland Championships.
The Eye Fitness Training Arena, hosts a series of 30-min competitive classes on their new UTC (Ultimate Training Centre) Rig, and is open to groups of 5-10 wanting to take on the challenge. Four classes will run on a rotating basis on the hour.
And those that want to learn more about the world of nutrition, supplements and clean eating, or perhaps discover new weight loss or training tips can join in one of the many FREE Seminars taking place over the weekend, with International VIP guests, Jason Poston (IFBB Pro Athlete), Cliff Harvey (Nutrition Guru), Rob Dallimore (Tri NZ), Jade McKinnon (IFBB Bikini Pro and Fitness Model), Jaco De Bruyn (WBFF Pro) and Josef Rakich (World No.1 Online Trainer) alongside a huge lineup of well-known local athletes and personalities.
