We Want You to Come and Laugh with Us!
Why?

We are having the 1st NZ Laughter Yoga Conference on 28th – 30th June 2013 to be held on the Kapiti Coast at Emerald Glen Homestead.
You may be wondering what is Laughter Yoga? It combines playful simulated laughter exercises with yogic breathing. It connects people heart to heart and is scientifically proven to increase everyone’s health and well-being in every way! Dr Madan Kataria founded the first Laughter Club in 1995 after researching therapeutic laughter and he set out to field test the impact of laughing on himself and a few close friends. And now there are thousands of Laughter Clubs in 72 countries worldwide, who practise laughing together for Health, Joy and World Peace.
Lynda Andrews is a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher trained by Dr Kataria in 2008 and she has been actively encouraging people to laugh with her own Laughter Club, workshops, trainings and talks throughout New Zealand.
Lynda says, “participants will be inspired, entertained and enthused” Presenters include NZ’s own Joyologist Pat Armitstead, Rob Hamill Inspirational Speaker & Adventurer. Linda Guirey – the Choice Champion and New Zealand’s best professional speaker for 2012.
Also, Merv Neal CEO of NZ & Australia Laughter Yoga will be presenting and as a Master Trainer of Laughter Yoga he will be training Certified Laughter Yoga Leaders and Teachers at Emerald Glen Homestead 24th-28 June 2013 – go to www.maurant.com.au for more information.
Merv found Laughter Yoga in 2002 when he suffered a series of life threatening illnesses that were due to business stress. Unable to comprehend the enormity and severity of the situation, he began to laugh…and laugh…and laugh. Seven months later he was totally cured. He now spends his time researching laughter, and then presenting to business people about how to identify stress early, and then what to do about it.
There will be 3 Public Laughter Yoga Sessions to bathe everyone in laughter and joy and there is a Talent Show & Party on the Saturday night! This is an opportunity for people to open their hearts and connect to each other. Most importantly though, people can increase their health & destress..
