MISSION SUMMARY
Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter Missions for the week ended 25 February 2007
25 February 2007 - The helicopter was tasked to the Panmure area for a beacon search.  Nothing found, returned to Mechanics Bay.
25 February 2007 - New Zealand Police tasked the helicopter to Ness Valley (Hunua) and winched then transported a woman who had slipped and fallen while tramping to Middlemore Hospital.
25 February 2007 - After a gas explosion at Whitianga a male was transported to Waikato Hospital.
25 February 2007 - New Zealand Police tasked the helicopter to Stanmore Bay where a male was winched from the water and transported to Auckland City Hospital.
24 February 2007 - The helicopter responded to Great Barrier Island and transported a male with a medical condition to Auckland City Hospital.
24 February 2007 - A male child who had fallen from a quad bike was transported from South Head to Starship Hospital.
24 February 2007 - The helicopter responded to Whangarei and transferred a male child to Starship Hospital.
24 February 2007 - A woman with a medical condition was transported from Rakino Island to Auckland City Hospital.
23 February 2007 - The helicopter responded to Great Barrier Island and transported a male with chest pain to Auckland City Hospital.
22 February 2007 - A woman with a medical condition was transported from Waiheke Island to Auckland City Hospital.
21 February 2007 - Rescue Co-ordination Centre tasked the helicopter to a beacon search.  Stood down before taking off from Mechanics Bay.
21 February 2007 - The helicopter was on standby for a boating accident at Mahurangi.  Stood down, not required.
21 February 2007 - A male child with a medical condition was transported from Waiheke Island to Starship Hospital.
20 February 2007 - The helicopter was tasked to Whangarei.  Stood down, not required.
20 February 2007 - The helicopter was tasked to Kaikohe.  Stood down, not required.
20 February 2007 - A male with a medical condition was transported from Waiheke Island to Auckland City Hospital.
19 February 2007 - The helicopter responded to a beacon search at Auckland Airport.

To ensure that the communities of the greater Auckland region have the security of a professional, efficient, emergency air ambulance search and rescue service available to them anytime.
