Waitakere Hospital Job Fair
As a result of the $60 million development of Waitakere Hospital the search is on for 500 staff to open the new hospital
on February 1st 2005.
As part of the recruitment drive a Job Fair will be held at Waitakere Hospital on Sunday June 20th from 10.00am – 4.00pm
to promote the job opportunities that will be available as a result of the development.
The Waitakere Hospital Job Fair will be an opportunity for people to gather information and express their interest,
perhaps in the form of a CV.
The Fair is open to all occupational groups but specific vocational information will be available. Some of the
information that will be available to potential candidates will be:
- Recruitment area where people can gather information and leave details
- Nursing and Nursing Development
- Maori Health services
- Mental Health services
- Pacific Island workforce information
- Community and Disability services
- RMO (Resident Medical Officer) information
- Service information:
- Paediatrics and SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit)

- Wards including Coronary Care Unit
- Clinical Support Services information:
- Radiology
- Pharmacy
- Laboratory
- Central Sterile Supply Department
