Media Statement From The Family Of John Vaughan
The family are relieved at the news that three men have been taken into custody in relation to the murder of John Vaughan.
They wish to express their sincere gratitude to the Police for the speed with which they have acted.
With the arrests, they can now get on with grieving their dearly loved father, son, close friend and former husband.
The family wishes to thank the public for their overwhelming show of support at last night’s vigil.
They are understandably still devastated at their loss and need significant time to deal with the tragedy.
The family would like time to grieve John’s unfortunate and tragic death and have asked that the media and the public respect this.
They are grateful for the continual support of family, friends and staff at ASB BANK.
