Books Without Borders Needs You!!!!

HELP!!!!!!!
*****URGENT!*****
We desperately need your help! The nationwide "Books Without Borders" (http://www.theglobalbridge.com/bookswithoutborders) challenge began today, and schools across the country -from the biggest to the tiniest and most far flung - have turned out to help to collect enough childrens' books to fill a forty foot container to be shipped to Nigeria. What we need now are volunteers to help get the books from all around the nation to Auckland by next week.
Most Save the Children shops nationwide, many public libraries and many schools have books waiting to be collected and transported to the waiting container in Auckland. Some Rotary and Kiwanis clubs have managed to get trucking companies to donate time, but we are still short a lot of man-power, and many schools that have worked hard to collect books may miss out on getting them collected if we cannot get enough help.
This is a wonderful cause - the container leaves Auckland on December 31st bound for Nigeria, to kick-start a literacy programme there - what a great way to finish a tragic year!
If you could help us publicise the fact that this is happening, and that all that stands in our way is a lack of transportation for the books, we would very, VERY much appreciate it! Just a quick mention would help get the word out nationwide. If anyone is travelling to one of the main centres in the next few days and they think they could squeeze a carton or two of books in the boot, they could please call Hannah on 021 1100591, or email hannahpalmer@lycos.com, Fiona at starandgarter@xtra.co.nz, or Allan at baddock@earthlight.co.nz
PLEASE consider helping us with this! We would really appreciate it.
Thank you very much! Hannah Palmer Campaign Manager "Books Without Borders."
