Please find attached a panui/media advisory regarding the Wiremu Parker Memorial Seminar being held at Victoria University of Wellington's Te Herenga Waka Marae.
The seminar includes a tribute to the late Dr Wiremu Parker as well as a presentation on research undertaken for the Broadcasting Standards Authority regarding the Potrayal of Mâori And Te Ao Mâori In Broadcasting, and in particular, the Foreshore and seabed issue.
