THE CHAUNCEY GROUP INTERNATIONAL'S TOEIC PROGRAM ANNOUNCES EXPANDED SERVICES IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
TO NATIONAL, EDUCATION AND BUSINESS EDITORS:
PRINCETON, N.J., March 7 RNewswire-Asianet/ -- The Chauncey Group International is pleased to announce the upgrading of
TOEIC services and support in Australia and New Zealand. The Chauncey Group has established a representation agreement
with Pro-Match Personal Profiles, Ltd., a company represented in both Australia and New Zealand. After extensive
evaluation of the local market and the best way to provide TOEIC products, services and local support to a rapidly
expanding user group, The Chauncey Group is confident that Pro-Match will be able to meet the customer needs of
Australia and New Zealand.
For twenty years, people have relied on the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) test to give them a
precise snapshot of their English ability. With over 1.5 million language students and professionals taking the test
each year, the TOEIC test is the world's leading measure of general English language proficiency.
Beginning March 6, 2000, inquiries for Australasia will be handled locally, without the awkwardness of marked time zone
differences. A team of personnel especially selected for their ability to understand local condit ons, and how the TOEIC
products and services can best meet client needs, will be available to answer requests. All new and existing test
products and the Tools for TOEIC series of learning products, scoring, reporting, TOEIC Certification, advice, and
guidance will be local from that point in time.
Pro-Match is headed by Ken Alexander, a Psychologist and trainer, with 37 years of experience in the management of
consulting services. Regarding the new TOEIC service for the region, Mr. Alexander stated, "Local representation in
Australia and New Zealand will do much to improve testing arrangements, turn-around time for scoring, and the
distribution of The Chauncey Group's exciting and growing range of new support products for the TOEIC test and language
learning generally."
Susan Chyn, Director of the TOEIC Program, comments, "We are delighted to be working with Ken Alexander and Pro-Match.
Over the past several years we have seen a dramatic rise in the demand for TOEIC services throughout Australasia. Now we
are better positioned to actively meet these needs."
