[DON’T FEED THE POP MONSTER] is “a masterclass in musical evolution, which marries raw emotion with pop sensibilities and a progressive sonic palette”
- Coup De Main
BROODS’ DON’T FEED THE POP MONSTER tour is the first time in more than two years that the LA-based duo has played consecutive shows on home soil. And they’re excited to have up-and-coming Kiwi band Balu Brigada opening for them.
Balu Brigada are known for their high energy alt-rock with hip-hop beats and pop hooks. Live, they are a force to be reckoned with and have supported acts such as Kiwi artist Thomston and Australian pop artist E^ST, as well as playing major festivals such as R and ZM’s Float.
With just a handful of releases under their belts, including their latest single ‘Brick By Brick’, the band (made up of three brothers and a friend) have been making waves in New Zealand but also internationally after basing themselves in New York and recording new material for their forthcoming mixtape.
