1st Annual Yoga Camp NZ Announced!

[CHRISTCHURCH, NZ, 7 February, 2018] - Yoga Camp NZ 2018 is a yoga, music, dance and wellness gathering emphasizing community, connection and communion with nature.
This new wellness offering for the Canterbury community provides a variety of movement classes and workshops that demystify the healing arts and provide practical lifestyle tools that can be easily integrated into busy lives and schedules.
Yoga Camp promises a nature immersive program with a diverse group of local teachers, musicians and lifestyle coaches opening the evening of Friday 9th March and closing the afternoon of Sunday 11th March.
Activities include yoga, bellydance, primal movement, ecstatic dance and hula hooping, as well as, workshops in yoga philosophy, herbal medicine, Rongoa Maori, nutrition, pre-conception health, sound healing, heart mind coaching and essential oils for emotional balance.
Special immersions for kids include face painting, kids yoga and nature crown making plus time to enjoy the waterslide, swimming hole and trampoline.
“We are are inspired to offer this unique gathering as an opportunity for Canterbury citizens to depart and unplug from everyday routines and to rebalance through nature, movement, fun and real connection." say the event producers, Jody Lloyd (Ecstatic Dance Christchurch) and Nicole Dench (Yoga With Nicole).
The Manaia Native Habitat is a unique haven for the biodiversity of Banks Peninsula and is home to native birds and centuries old trees. Walks through the 18 acres range from a ten minute ramble to an hour long circumnavigation, which includes boardwalks and stunning views.
Tent camping is available at the Little River Campgrounds.
A limited number of Early Bird tickets for Yoga Camp NZ 2018 will be available Thursday, 8th of February to Monday, 12th of February. Full Weekend and overnight Saturday tickets will be available. Special pricing is offered for children under 14.
