Soundsplash Gives Back for Christmas, Launches Day Tickets And New Camping Zone, And Releases Timetable
With just a month to go, Soundsplash 2018 is set to deliver Raglan’s best festival experience yet, January 19 – 21.
Along with a great all-ages vibe and stunning beachside location, Soundsplash offers three stagespacked with nearly 40 acts. Highlights for 2018 include Shapeshifter, Ladi6, DUB FX, Slumberjack,Katchafire, P-Money and Ocean Alley. The full timetable can now be viewed online atsoundsplash.co.nz
Heading to Soundsplash is easy, with a number of transport, ticket and accommodation options. On-site camping is available for both tents and campervans, with a brand new camping area just announced.The Ledge premium camping is exclusively for those aged 18 and over, offering a premier location close to all stages, bars and food vendors, with easy beach access. Limited sites are available for two-person tents, but hurry - we’re picking these will sell fast!
For those not built for camping, Soundsplash is also happy to announce a limited release of Day Ticketsfor the festival. Available for both Friday Jan 19th and Saturday Jan 20th, these can be purchased now from eventfinda.co.nz. Again, numbers are limited, so we recommend getting in quick.
As an added incentive, $5 from any Soundsplash ticket purchased between December 20th – 25th will be donated to Foodbank New Zealand to help spread some extra Christmas cheer.
In addition to a ton of great music, Soundsplash will host a schedule of free workshops during the festival, with plenty of knowledge and inspiration on offer. Food vendors will offer a range of delicious and healthy alternatives to standard festival fare, and the Global Marketspace will have a bazaar full of ethically sourced goods available for sale.
For those travelling from out of town, Raglan Airfield will be available as a free parking area for Soundsplash ticket holders during the festival, and regular free shuttle buses will run between the airfield, i-SITE Visitor Information Centre, and Soundsplash site. For those travelling from Hamilton, a separate bus service is also available.
