Wellington's Adam Art Gallery Emerging Writers' Workshop

Adam Art Gallery Emerging writers’ workshop I - Friday 25 August 12–1pm
Please join us for the first of two writing workshops in association with The Tomorrow People. For this session curator Simon Gennard and Wellington-based writer Hanahiva Rose will provide insights into their individual approaches to critical writing, with a view to enable new writers to tackle the task of art criticism.
Simon Gennard is co-curator of The Tomorrow People. He has recently completed his MA in Art History at Victoria University of Wellington. His writing has appeared in Overland, The Pantograph Punch, andTurbine. Simon recently joined the Dowse Museum as the 2017-2018 Blumhardt Foundation/Creative New Zealand curatorial intern.
Hanahiva Rose (Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Toa Rangatira) is an Art History student at Victoria University and the 2017 arts editor of Salient. She was a participant in the 2017 Adam Art Gallery Summer Intensive.
