The Australian musician and producer formerly known as Chet Faker now writes, produces, records and performs under his given name, Nick Murphy. Murphy’s achievements as Chet Faker are great and varied. He appeared in the top 10 of triple j’s Hottest 100 for three consecutive years (including #1 for his double-platinum, bonafide hit ‘Talk is Cheap’) and his critically-acclaimed debut album BUILT ON GLASS was an international success. Murphy has performed sold-out shows on five continents and played at the world’s top festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound and more.
The MISSING LINK trailer comes after Murphy’s headline performances at St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival this year, where he played at sundown to the festival’s biggest crowds. Murphy will play three special headline shows at the Sydney Opera House this June, where he will premiere a brand new show created for Vivid LIVE.
