North Canterbury set to shake up Auckland’s food scene
Greystone Wines is partnering with acclaimed restaurant, Meredith’s, to offer Auckland foodies a chance to taste the flavours of North Canterbury.
“North Canterbury has had a few challenging months with the earthquakes and major road closures,” says Greystone winemaker Dom Maxwell. “We’re excited with this opportunity to represent our region in Auckland and showcase what we have to offer.”
Dom will personally present Greystone wines alongside star chef Michael Meredith’s inspired cuisine showcasing some of North Canterbury’s best produce.
The six course dinner features Waipara summer truffles, North Canterbury lamb, Whataroa purple potatoes, biodynamic spelt and Greystone’s Verjuice and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Greystone premium wines, award-winning Pinot Noir and Erin’s Chardonnay will be matched perfectly to Michael’s dishes. This is a night not to be missed.
Two evening sittings available on Wednesday 22 February, 2017. Pre-booking is essential by contacting Meredith’s Restaurant on (09) 623 3140. Tickets $165 per person.
