The immersive theatre project Danse Macabre will be performed on 19-21 November at Ferrymead Heritage Park at 8.30pm.
Inspired by two classic tales of the supernatural, it will offer audiences an unusual theatrical experience that
includes a twilight walk around the grounds of an old Edwardian township - what shadows might be lurking there?..
Danse Macabre is brought to life by a diverse and talented cast and crew including Ukrainian-born producer, writer,
director and actress Nataliya Oryshchuk (NO Productions Theatre Collective); local musician, actor and director Daniel
Webster; young soundscape creator Colter Carson; the popular and experienced Christchurch actors Michael Adams and David
Allen, and the talented young actors Gwilym Wogan andYvette Bensemann.
“I am very lucky to be working with so many talented Christchurch artists on this project” – says Nataliya Oryshchuk –
“our city is long overdue for a good theatrical ghost story, and Danse Macabre will offer two of them! Ferrymead
Heritage Park is the ideal location for an immersive theatrical experience, and we really appreciate the opportunity to
perform there”.
Audience numbers will be strictly limited to 30 each night, with tickets available through pre-sale only. The ticket
price includes light refreshments during the interval.
Duration is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes, including an interval and pre-show walk.
Due to the nature of the show, PG 13 is recommended.
Tickets: $35 waged/$30 unwaged. To book, email book.a.ghost@gmail.com
