AUCKLAND, July 29, 2014: Stars Sports Tours & Events has joined with the Victoria Racing Club and SKYCITY Auckland to host the 2014 Emirates Melbourne Cup trophy
during the Auckland leg of the 2014 Emirates Melbourne Cup Tour. Racing fans, business people, fashionistas, tourists,
kids and the general public can view and have their photo taken with the iconic Cup at SKYCITY Auckland thisThursday,
31st July between 12-1pm.
Fans will also be able to chat with popular track commentator Des Coppins of Trackside and Kel Munroe, a Melbourne Cup
expert, alongside Melbourne Cup winning jockey, Michael Clarke. Additionally, television host and fashion personality
Colin Mathura-Jeffree, who is also an Emirates Melbourne Cup attendee, will offer sartorial tips and tricks for people
heading to racing events.
