FIFA World Cup opening match – screening for free on Wellington’s waterfront
FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 will be playing on the big screen this Friday 13 June, from 7:15am – 10am at Shed 6 for free, and everyone’s invited.
The FIFA U-20 World Cup 2015 Local Organising Committee along with the Embassy of Brazil and Wellington City Council invites you to join us for a “Fiesta of Football” to celebrate the kick off to the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014, and the Official Launch of the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015!
New Zealand’s own FIFA U-20 World Cup 2015 tournament kicks off in May next year and will feature 24 of the world's top under-20 teams including New Zealand eager to shine on the world stage.
So join us for the countdown to the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 opening match and the official launch of the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015 public ticket sales!
Admission - FREE. Coffee and refreshments are available to purchase.
