Nelson Home & Garden Show Announces New 2014 Venue
Jade Promotions, the country’s largest provider of home, garden and lifestyle shows announced today that after the
closure of the Trafalgar Centre, it will be relocating its 2014 Nelson Home & Garden Show to the Saxton Stadium in Stoke, Nelson.
“We are excited about the new venue because it is a win-win for show visitors and exhibitors alike. It is larger, has
more free parking and a bigger outdoor area, and is a more modern venue than the old location. It is also handily
located in Stoke, just five minutes drive from either Richmond or Nelson“, says company director, Daniel Joll.
“We’re also implementing a fresh initiative at the new venue for community groups. We’ll be giving free exhibiting space
to the local organisation that approaches us with the best idea or event for a show feature. We’re looking for concepts
that would fit with the home and garden theme of the Show, plus would appeal to a wide range of people. It could be a
floral design convention, a large art or photographic exhibition, perhaps a wood-turning demonstration – anything
impressive that would wow show visitors.”
